Print the cards (double sided) on white cardstock.
NOTE: The front and back of the cards have a specific orientation. When printing, make sure the open circle on the back of the card overlaps the region of empty space on the front side of the card.
Step 2: Punching Out the Windows
Using a 1" circular craft punch, cut out the circular window from the take away care. The circle on the back of the card can be used as a guide.
Step 3: Starting the Window
Remove the backing from one of the lamination squares.
Affix the lamination square to the take away card, covering the pre-punched hole.
Turn the card over, so that the sticky side of the lamination square is facing upwards.
Step 4: Designing the Window
Using scissors, cut small peices (5-10 mm in size) of the gold and silver nanoparticle stained glass disks. The actual size of the peices doesn't not have to be exact, but the peices need to fit within the prepunched circle.
Place the piece(s) of the nanostained glass on the sticky side of the lamination square. Multiple peices can be used to create a design.
Step 5: Finishing the Window
Remove the backing from the second lamination square.
Affix the lamination square to the take away card, sealing the nanoparticle stained glass peices between the two lamination squares.
Step 6: Clean up
For this portion of the nanostained glass tabletop activity, clean up is very simple:
Throw away punched circle and backing from the lamination squares.
Collect remaining peices of the nanostained glass disks. These can be reused.
